why does nobody on here ever recommend hifi seperates or powered monitors? slightly more expensive but leagues ahead of these little speaker sets.

it's probably cause I started off the thread like this

planning to get new speakers for around £100.

hifi speakers would be beyond my budget, but thanks for the recommendation (for future purposes)

I too am looking at the creatives. My quandary is that I've got another £15 Amazon voucher, so is it better to go for the t-40s for £55 or the t-20s at £35?

Can't comment on the T-40's but the T-20's at £35 is a bloomin steal

Right, I read reviews for both on TrustedReviews, and although the T40s are the better speaker, the t20s are best if you're sat at a desk listening to them, which is what I'll be doing, so I ordered them. Should be getting delivered early next week...
