I reckon you could sell this for a bit more to a "lady" - but you'd have to have a suitable (i.e. white) monitor, KB & Mouse. <ducks and runs for cover>

Yep - that's almost exactly what I was thinking - around 100 - 110 with keyboard and mouse (both black)... thanks.

It's almost silent - and would be practically silent if I didn't have the Radeon in it

Does this have wifi? Another pci slot? How good is the onboard soundcard for output to an amp - ie any crackling. Whats the highest cpu the board can take?

Hmmm i might be interested. If you could test the audio as i would add a wifi card, but would also need goodish onboard sound then. How well does the pentium m perform, ie would it compete with a 3.2 s478 800fsb cpu?

Re: PriceCheck - Aopen XC Cube Pentium M System...

The system has built in 5.1 sound

I would say the Pentium M 1.8ghz chip compares / equals a P4 @ 2.8ghz roughly. (The Pentium M was the fore-runner to the Intel Core Solo / Duo... etc)

You could always add a usb wifi card if you did want to upgrade the sound.

It's not ready for sale yet (hence the price check ) - but when it is I'll put it in FS forum / and let you know.

I think you get closer to £150 on ebay or somewhere else.... selling here will be at a low price, because people know too much about computers!

Does it take the new Core Duo (not C2D) mobile chips?

May mean you can bump the price up...
