    Re: Gaming build

the logitech z-5500 are awesome. i've got the older model the z-680 and apart from some cosmetic changes they're pretty much the same. my friend has the z-5500 and they don't sound different. The sound quality is literally amazing but a good sound card is needed to get the most out of them

Try and not get the x-fi, creative really are bad with their drivers. if i could do it all again i'd have gone for the auzentech or asus version of the x-fi...

    Re: Gaming build

Thanks for the advice rufeo, I think i'll stay with the G51s though as i'm not too fussed about sound.
I found a stacker 831 white for 79.99 from ebuyer, is that what you were talking about Ommid?

Where can i find the fan bracket for the stacker so i can add side fans?

Also, what are some good cheap led 120mm case fans i should get for a stacker, would be helpful if i could change the speed of them (i'm not sure if mobo can support 9 fans/i can get a fan controller which supports 9 fans - if so, please link)

    Very Nice!

My final concern is the tuniq tower. There is nothing wrong with it, seems to do very well in all the tests i've seen but the thing is huge and weighs a lot iirc.

I would be tempted to go for the thermalright extreme 120 if you want the best cooling. Personally I use the Scythe Ninja because it's super quiet and is a great performer at a good price. The thermalright ultima 90 is a cut down extreme 120 and is also a very good performer

    Re: Gaming build

The only reason i chose the tuniq tower is cause all of the good air hsfs are huge anyway, but the tuniq tower does look pretty cool though

is a TRUE with a scythe s flex 1600rpm fan going to perform a lot better than tuniq tower? also how does the scythe ninja plus compare to those two?

    Re: Gaming build

I was under the impression that the TRUE with s-flex is pretty much as good as it gets.

Ninja will be a few degree's over the TRUE's best temps.. but I like them.

    Re: Gaming build

    Thanks for the link

Is there is a big difference between using 1 fan and 2 fans on the TRUE?

Also, can someone with an ip35 dark raider and a TRUE tell me if i can install a TRUE on the mobo with 2 fans and whether they would block anything (like ram slots)

    Re: Gaming build

My mate has one on the IP-35 Pro which is no differnet in sizes etc.. and it works fine. Two fans doesn't cause a problem either.
