Yeah, it is okay as far as the Case is laid down flat with the Cooler facing up. Obviously , a bumpy ride is always risky!
I don't have scythe ninja but got a coolermaster geminII, its about 1kg so its heavy as well. Do make sure that the heatsink is facing up, and try and make sure that the case won't slide around in the boot. If possible just to be on the safe side, carry it like that as well, you might need two people to do it
I would still suggest taking the heatsink off. If it happens to drop the whole thing to the ground from 1m, the force will probably be great enough to break the motherboard into 2 pieces.
As SiM said, if you're very careful when transporting, then it should be fine.
I moved back in September, with my Scythe NInja in place, without issue. I don;t even think I put the case on it's side, left it standing up iirc. However, the ninja touches the inneer side of my case, to there's no space for movement.
As said above, just be careful and you should be fine. Lay it on it's side, and ensure it can't slide about & bump into anything..
I once moved house with a PC with a thermaltake volcano 12 (AKA huged lump of copper) installed. Was planning on removing it before transporting the PC. Trouble is I had 'help' from the family.
To my horror I saw my brother in law running down the stairs with the PC box in his arms. The PC was inside with the Volcano still installed. Was never quite stable in games again, although I'm not 100% sure it was down to that incident.
A guy I built a PC for took in the car just lying it down in the back seat. That was with a ninja. Just make sure it is really on properly and it will be fine :)
