Lightbulb Memory volt mod for an IC7 mb.......

Does anyone know if there is a person / place that will mod my mb for me (as I'm too sh1t to do it myself )
They would have to be close to me (Cardiff - South Wales) for it to be worth it. I know there are multiple guides on how to do this but I have never used a soldering iron b4. Oh and what would the cost be?
    Thanks.

you may be able to find a local electronic replair place, (look in yellow pages or something?) and take the guide into them. explain what needs to be done, and they will probably sort you out with a estimated price and no warranty...

What exactly is the default highest vmem available on the IC7, i ask because i'm just about to get one, well the MAX3 to be specific. Also what does the mod increase the vmem to? Thanks.

It depends on what you set the variable resistor to

And it's also dependant on your power supply lines.

    LayZeh,

The max3 gives you options upto 3.1v I think but the IC7 (non max3) only gives you upto 2.8 (and undervolts by 0.05 approx), my memory is warrantied upto 2.95v so you see, I cant push it without more mem!!

but... the max 3 doesn't work properly from 2.9v upwards anyway... (unless its a new mobo or an ex-rma'd one) take off the mc64 and you're almost sorted.
