Thanks, though, for your point, I had not thought about it. It is less than a year old, so assume it is still under warranty and will raise it as a point with them. If it were broken, they would have to replace it, so they must have some spare, they obviously just do not have the mechanism in place where you can 'buy' the replacement, and so are saying they cannot do it. Which if anything makes their reticence and poor service more disgraceful!
