Cos lets face it, so many plugs are weird shapes, with power bricks as they are, they don't always fit onto the long solid ones.
Expensive...but clever.

£20 not bad with surge protection and yes with all those brick dc converters a good idea

Or the same tower from Maplin for £15 (I have one got it in the sales for a massive £9) to save on postage and the get it now-ness

That squid looks good. One of my pet hates is plugs. Why oh why do those DC converters always have the wire coming out the front? It's PITA. The squid might solve that. I've managed to get everything neat and tidy for all my electrical cables (PC, TV, HiFi etc) by using these Maplin > Cable Zip Tidy Makes hoovering/cleaning much easier.

Just seen one of these in Curry's, nice idea imho..
All my stuff is plugged into my UPS via one of these tho..
