    Simple Motherboard Question

    hey guys,
I'm thinking about building a htpc, and just wanted to know if this micro atx motherboard is any good... Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK
only chose this one because it has whats seems to be decent onboard graphics and therefore i wouldn't need a separate graphics card for watching dvds etc... what do you think...

    Re: Simple Motherboard Question

Yeah they're pretty good boards for htpc's. To be honest though the best way to go for a HTPC is AMD at the moment.

Stick a cheap X2 in this board and you've got yourself all the gfx power you will ever need for blu-ray, even light gaming.

also once the drivers are ready you wil able to add an ATi HD3470 (£27) and it works in hybrid crossfire

If you do go for the 630i I would get the abit version as it allows some overclocking even though you probably wont want to, and abit have better support.

The one problem( which won't really affect you ) with the 630i is single channel RAM.
