Question hard drive really noisy, help please :P

Well i have only recently noticed my hard drive is really loud when seeking etc, its a western digital 250aaks(sata) i havent noticed it because of my case fans are really loud(annoying 5x 80mm fans >.<), when i put them on silent i can hear the hard drive seeking etc, it could be vibrations as its only mounted too metal with some screws, so i was looking at dampeners and only found a few but the one that caught my eye was the nexus one Black DiskTwin Disk Vibration Dampener any idea where i can get this from?or any other suggestions for a product or a suggestion too fix it a different way, isnt there some sort of silent mode?.

    Thanks.

Well you might look for a better (quieter) case (noisy fans and rattling HDDs don't sound good). Alternatively are you sure your HDD isn't on the way out? I can't say I've noticed any HDD being that noisy except ones that later died (although in some cases the time was many months away).

Re: hard drive really noisy, help please :P

well the case is a chieftec and the reason fans are loud is because thet are 80mm ones, im planning on ordering an antec 300 soon so that would sort it. My hdd shouldnt be on its way out as its only a month old roughly. So does any1 know where too buy them nexus ones? because i might buy them in advance for my 300.
