I'm building a cheap system for somebody based on this mobo:
It comes with a Duron CPU. Now, me being me, I want to take the heatsink off and replace the crappy TIM they'll have used with some arctic silver. However the HSF is screwed to the mobo.
Is it worth the bother of removing it? I don't think it'll be too much hassle, but if anybody's tried it and failed let me know.
I want to do it before I power it up and melt the TIM that's already on there.
Cheers,
Unts.
