I'd go with the ultima 90 though. Much better price and very similar cooling.

Ordered one from OC UK today, came to about 45 after shippinh and vat and idiot tax lol
Had a one on order at Scan for a good month now. The way things are going, by the time they're in both Intel and AMD will be on new sockets...
You should look at some of the new Heat-pipe Direct Touch coolers. They are out-performing the TRUE.
Hopefully this will be helpful to you; we have posted an article comparing many of the top CPU coolers recommended in our Best CPU Cooler Performance - Q1 2008 roundup.
All of the coolers used the same fan so that CPU cooler performance was isolated, and all of the products were stock (not lapped or modified). You may find different performance results by using a different fan or modifying the product.

hmm has anyone tested the vendetta against the 120 extreme?
The Vendetta 2 is compared against the 120 eXtreme here: OCZ Vendetta 2 HPT CPU Cooler OCZTVEND2 | cpu cooler,oczvend2,vendetta 2,ocz vendetta 2,heat-pipe direct touch,OCZ Vendetta 2 Heat-pipe Direct Touch HDT 120mm CPU Cooler OCZTVEND2 Performance Test Comparison Review | Benchmark Reviews Performance Tes
there is one major thing missing from the comparisons of cpu coolers tho, in that the TRU120E is one of the only ones that supports multiple fans in a push pull alignment, thus increasing airflow and heat dissipation.
Watch me get proved wrong :-(
edit: i did get proved wrong, i knew i would :-)
edit2: but how can you but 2 fans on the OCZ vendetta without modifying or glueing it on????? :-P
edit3:i should stop writing in white
edit4: (i should stop editing :S) they didnt mention if they had checked the base to be level. If the others are better then surely there would have been a fair amount of buzz around the forums by now seeing as how popular the TRU120E is.

What is missing? BTW, half the coolers listed can use two or more fans. There's a lot of explaination in the article that indicates why they used only one fan (so to isolate the coolers performance).
