Recommend a pre built PC please

Ok, my homebrew system is getting a bit twitchy and I'm hankering after a new PC. I don't want to spend any more than £800 (less if I can get away with it really, closer to £600)... I can't be bothered with building my own this time...

Is the Fusion Colossus still the PC to get within this budget- as recommended in PC Zone magazine ?

    If not what is?

Is there any reason to go for the Gladiator over the Colossus?

Looking to use it mainly for gaming and storing pics, vids etc, nothing fancy or unusual...

sorry but I cant post the chillblast.com link as yet, not enough posts...

    Thanks in advance guys.

Re: Recommend a pre built PC please

Why not ask in the pre-built section? As for the FC, it looks second rate in almost every category, but it'll play most games OK. I'd prefer to know who was making every part myself (like the RAM).

Re: Recommend a pre built PC please

would never recommend cyberpower even to an enemy , my friend bought a machine from them on my recomendation, it arrived non working, couldn't open the case cause it would invaligate the warranty, had to send it back with his own money, cause they said it might take a week or two before they collected, another one came in and imagine that non working too, so he decided tocancel it at all, so they said that this time he has to pay for the postage again cause he's the nice type he agreed, but after he told me, i called them, had to get through 3 clerks before i got to the manager, who eventually got the point and agreed to collect the system and refund "in a few days" which took 10 days eventually... this kind of service i only encountered at ocuk once and admiral car insurance

If you like their spec then Dell is pretty well priced. And you can be sure that they won't go belly up (meaning that their warranty is actually worth having).

Re: Recommend a pre built PC please

The chillblast deal isn't bad, but like already mentioned I like to know exactly what inside before plonking down the money. In this department 3xs Systems are very good, great service too.

Always worth shopping around before buying.
