Question Heatsink Advice, Intel 775 Socket!!!

Hi I have got £260 left over from my build:

    Motherboard:
Asustek S775 Nvidia 650i ATX GLAN

    Memory:
    OCZ Technology OCZ Technology 2x1GB 240DIMM PC2-6400 DDR2 Platinum

    Processor:
    Intel Quad Core Q6600 2.4GHz S775

When the new cards come out June 18th depending on how much I have left, I guess around £60. I want to buy a new heatsink to Cool my CPU as much as possible so I can overclock it to 3.2Ghz comfortable.

I've been looking at a couple on Scan.co.uk:

Asus Triton 79 Amazing Series Limited Edition CPU Cooler

ASUS Silent Knight AL Pure Aluminium Quiet CPU Cooler

ASUS Arctic Square Compact Cooler with Blue LED Fan

Any suggestions for a good Price to Performance Ratio Intel S775 Heatsink.

Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK is what I have and would buy again

Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK is what i would buy to save a fiver if I felt the need.

Both very quiet (near silent) and both capable of cooling a q6600 at those clocks all day

I wouldn't bother with any of the ASUS one's they are form over function imo.

Only cos they didn't use the right fans on the others
They should have done a test where they use the same fan for each heatsink.

Re: Heatsink Advice, Intel 775 Socket!!!

I've got a Scythe Miné on my Striker Extreme - it was a f***er to fit (and my knuckles still bear the scars from the razor-sharp fins) and my temps aren't that great either - idle tends to be around 38C (Q6600 at stock speed), but it is in a Cosmos, so that may have something to do with it...

Before making a suggestion I think it would be best to know what case you have? Also what is your PSU?
