Holy christ that HDD is cheap as chips! I need to get myself 6 (I'd put 8 in if I had the space ).

Sounds pretty good. Just one word of advice wrt mobo and ram (i got the dark raider and 4X1Gb 6400 a week ago)...

First time you get to the bios make sure to set the ram voltage to the level needed! I spent ages swearing at a non-booting pc before finding out i had to boot it with a single stick in slot 4 to reach the bios to up the voltage from 1.8 default to the 2.1 my ram specified!

Does anyone have any info. on the 1TB F1, some people are saying it`s fast, others it`s flaky and unreliable?

Well, I was waiting on the 640gb drives (2 Platter) & whilst searching for the F1, reviews were saying get the WD6400AAKS because Samsung were having problems with the platters on the 1TB drive (not just manufacturing) and not to expect the 640GB drive soon...............If the 1TB is fine however, at the above price, might as well get one of those.

There seems to more and more samsung horror stories recently, probably due to their rising popularity and subsequent sales. I'll be sticking with Western Digital though, still never had a problem with them
