    Psu very noisy

    Hi

    My new rig is very nosiy.I use a Coolermaster 650w psu.Case - P182
Is this due to shorting or something.

My old rig had a 850w antec quattro which was silent in the beginning but became noisy after i reassembled it.

My new rig failed to turn on after i finished assembling. But when I removed all cables like 12v 4pin, 24pin etc and reconnected them the system powered on.

The noise is so annoying.Hw can solve this issue?

I would suggest a better PSU unit, yuu have overclocked quite high and I take it you are using the 8pin converter with the PSU maybe its being stressed and needs to power the fan to keep cool. What are your temps?

i know the fans in thes PSU are not the quietest available.

    Re: Psu very noisy

These coolermaster units, although not cheap, arent great.

The fans are also not so easy on the ear. There is nothing wrong with the PSU......its just the way these units are.
