Keeping dust OUT and airflow UP

Hi all,

I'm just about to start build a new PC. I got a chieftec dragon tower case.
I noticed when i got it that it has space for 2 X 80mm fans at the front and they take air from the front grill, the gaps are fairly big and so I thought is there anything I can do to stop loads of muck getting into the PC. I've also heard that insects can get into vents and kill mobo's (article from a PC mag)
Sooooo I've taken some black accustic cloth (The type used in Hi-Fi systems) and cut this to fit nice and snug.

Has anyone else done this and does anyone think that I'm gonna seriously mess up airflow into the case ? I really wanna try and aviod getting shed loads of dust into the machine.

Btw I would like toknow this I have one of the coolermaster cases with very few fans, but the way they suck the air means I get dust bing sucked THROUGH my CD burner, the usb sockets on the front needed hoovering too

How about using an old pair of tights coz they are cheap and replacable, but if you don't replace them often enough, then airflow will decrease...

Now that's a prety neat idea !!!

I'll have to speak to my other half about getting them for me cos I'm sure as not buying them LOL dust or no dust.

When your next our in town dear could you buy me a pair of tights please LOL
