It just says "database error" when I put in my drive details..

"If you are a customer (such as OEM, Distributor, etc.) that buys products directly from Seagate, please use my.seagate.com to return drives to Seagate."
In other words Scan buys directly from Seagate so Scan has to send the drive back unless it Retail.
