    Price Check: Quad Core PC

Hi, just wondering how much my system is worth as thinking about changing:

Lian-Li PC7 Plus II brushed aluminium case
Intel Quad Core Q6600 (Normal Stepping)
Asus P5N-E SLI (650i Nvidia Chipset, can take Quad-Core)
    OCZ 2GB PC6400 (Special-Ops Edtn)
    Samsung Spinpoint P 250GB (SATA2, 16MB)
    Tagan 430 Watt Modular (TG430-U15)
    e-VGA 320mb 8800GTS
    Creative X-Fi Audio 7.1CH
    Abit AirPace 54Mbps Wireless (PCI-E)
    Samsung 20x20 DVD+/-RW (Lightscribe!!!, SATA) [2 Year]
    Akasa Acoustipack (Standard Ver)
    Scythe Kama-Cross CPU Cooler
    Noctua NF-S12-800
    Noctua NF-R8

It is obviously built for silence, PSU isn't as silent as my Corsair but decent all the same.

It can run Call Of Duty 4 at 1680 x 1050 with maxed out everything including AA and AF.

Any help would be much appreciated!

PS: There is a Windows XP license sticker on the side of the case.

At a quick add up, used price, I'd say somewhere around £500.

There is a similar system (in a Lian-Li enclosure, slightly higher spec'd) on a well known auction site at the moment.

Adding up and going by second user prices i would say between £400-£420
Case and CPU make up the vast majority of that.

YOu can get a brand new 8800GTS 320 now for under £100

If you are selling then sell the parts seperately. YOu would almost certainly make more money that way.

Re: Price Check: Quad Core PC

When I added up the parts separately I only got to around £340 for some reason.........

I wouldn't sell it if I had to part it up because it woud be too much effort and I have very little packaging. Of course picking it up in London would be fine though.

I'd agree that (especially if you have the retail boxes) you'll get significantly more money for the parts, as they are all quite decent.

But some would pay a little more (especially on places like ebay) for a machine that is already built. THats why i went for £400
