quantity isnt really important, the stuff is conductive in any quantity. if it manages to span two of the pins then thats a problem.
clean it up?

AS5 is not conductive, but it is slightly capacitive. Its been known to cause issues when it gets on RAM chip pins, but these are very small and of a much closer proximity.
From the actual residue - I couldn't see it happening myself, but for the sake of cleaning it I would
Go and get an ear-bud. Spray a bit of deodorant on it (alcohol based) and give it a rub. It'll come off in no time

Ear bud - now that's a good idea.
or my fave (as has been in action today) nail polish remover 79p from tesco and an ear bud
(also got some canned air and thermal paste as my AS5 has gone walkabouts... not happy)
These were my thoughts exactly. Its just late and cant be bothered to re-apply and instal windows now. Will wait til the morning and use some MK-2 instead, stuff is MUCH easier to spread and totaly non conductive.
I even have Akasa TIM cleaner right next to me and some ear buds a stones throw away
high quality vodka or gin
well it's my excuse for the bottle by my pc
