    Default Monitor problem

    dear all

whenever i start my PC, the monitor appears as DEFAULT MONITOR in Device manager,
when i press "Scan for hardware change", it picks up my Dell monitor.

    Re: Default Monitor problem

dont hold me to this but if my memory serves me correct

delete the default monitor from device mangager

then add new hardware and manualy pick plug and play monitor
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
