cheapo system build for business and home?

My mum has asked me to get her a new pc for her home office, Going to be used for business and general internet, music.
I might install a few older games on another profile like Counterstrike & what ever else I can run on it. lol

I know how to use a pc without it getting virus infested, I’m worried about my mum having her files on there because I think my sister may use limewire and other such programs. (I think I should ban her using it!!)

So really its going to be half business half family use... that’s what worries’s me! Any advice on how I should store her business files? I think I’m going to get vista 32 because it has better security

Re: cheapo system build for business and home?

Thats pretty much what I would build but I would swap the case and psu for this
Antec NSK 3480 Micro ATX Case - 380W Earth Watts PSU

It's very well regarded by SPCR so it must be damn near silent and it looks nice too and comes with a decent enough PSU

That said Dell will be a good way to go.
The Dell Online Store: Build Your System

comes to £363 delivered with a 19" monitor, 20 and 22" screen are £45 and £60 upgrades respectfully.

check for other deals here to
Compare All UK Dell Vostro Deals and E-Value Codes | dmXdimension

Quad core and 20" screen comes to about £450

For security get a copy of kaspersky internet protection.. does it all and its very light on resources.

thanks, didnt find that! Would Defiantly swap, the case!
Quad core would be well over my mums needs lol
Funny thing is this system is goning to be more powerfull than mine ( and i do a fair bit of 3d animation n lark)
im going to build my own quad soon, but have put that off for a while to save for a Dell XPS laptop! Nice!

i think im going to build it lol more fun that way.

Your Mobo is a uATX one so your waisting alot of space with your case, a cube case or good uATX case would look better and save space.
