Just been given two laptops to try and sort out, first on the list is the advent.
Advent 6410.
Symptons. Its dead, lights come on and thats it.
Quiet an easy one to diagnose, the PSU is made by canon?? DOuble checked with the owner and the oriiginal one dies so they used one that "fitted". Original was 19v, canon one is 24v.
So, theres data on the HD (if thats not fried), but I havent a clue where it lives??
ANybody have any ideas how to get at the laptop?
