    Antec 900 Fans

Looking to replace the fans on the 900, well its the LED's that are the problem really. Im just finding them too distracting when trying to watch films etc on the computer. Im pretty sure that you cant disable them so i guess replacing the fans are the only option. Anyone replaced these fans before? I really like how quiet the fans are on this case so replacing them with equally quiet fans is a must! The 200mm doesnt have a LED on it (i think) so that leaves 3 120mm up for replacing. Hopefully someone with a bit more knowledge about it can help me out...

    Re: Antec 900 Fans

You could buy LED'less fans but to be honest I don't think there will be a big difference in the noise no matter what brand of fan you buy.

Sharkoon golfball 1000rpm versions from Scan? Or any fans with a fan controller and just turn the speed down until you are happy with the noise level .

    Re: Antec 900 Fans

I think they are supposed to be pretty good, but I only own the 2000rpm version. If you look in the 'technical spec' tab on the item description page on Scan's website it gives you the different fans' noise levels in dB.

If it's just the LEDs you're having a problem with, can't you just break the LED?

I was thinking more along the lines of hammers and pliers, but breaking one of the legs would work, too.
