hi guys i have just completed my new build finished 12 tonight

e6600 2x2gb xms2 6400 2 x-fired 3870 gigabyte cards scythe ninja duorb coolers
take a look at pics

my p5k cpu and 4 gigs of xms2



things are lookin bright for my scythe ninja



all in my case with 3mm to spare from my scythe ninja to windowed side panel of case



(IT'S ALIVE!!) MY PC WORKED WHEN I PUT IT TOGETHER!! .



I WAS A LITTLE SCEPTICAL AS MY BROTHER BOUGHT A PENTIUM D LAST WEEK AND IT TOOK HIS BOARD MEMORY AND CHIP OUT IN 1 GO

did tell him not to get a pentium d and told him to get core 2 duo e6300 but sum people never learn

i have finished building my pc i need help with what drivers to get and overlocking. if you can recommend all the drivers that i would need as i am freshly installing windows on my pc (maybe even direct links to the right 1's i need)
also need links to 3dmarks riva tuner etc (whatever you think i would need )
also i upgraded my bios on p5k to 1005 and people are saying that they cant find where to knock x-fire on in the bios can any help tell me what to do about this

i am lookin at my thread constantly every day always replyin so please keep replying to help me with my new build

oh yes !! help with overclock most definitely i also need to know what drivers to get to go with my system as well

also i have been into my bios because i upgraded it last week and i can't change the cpu frequency and the clock multiplier

when i go to the clock multiplier it wont change if i press 4 on the clock multiplier it shows a dollar sign???

i really don't know whats happenin here

what motherboard? you should be able to change the multi but no higher than your cpu's multi, what about the fsb can you change that?

don't know why i am having issues with my bios it wouldn't change the cpu ratio

my board is a p5k not pro deluxe or e just p5k

it let me change it now i am currently on a ratiio of 9 with fsb 333 giving me 3.0 ghz on my e6600

ati catalyst control won't let me change the clock speeds for my 3870's

any1 know a link for virus free riva tuner

also my dvd drives aint workin tidy they wont read disks but will play windows xp from bios when i chuck original game in (crysis) it says its copying files but don't seem to do much

i also installed garfield 2 for the mrs (childish cow!) it installed ok but will not start when i press play

any help is much appreciated

hi sorry to bug but have found am running into more problems

does crysis support x-fire because when i tried runnin x-fire with crysis i got loads of funny green and red lines but when i unchecked x-fire in ati ccc(catalyst) it worked fine

because my motherboard doesn't support pci-express 2.0
and my 2nd pci-express lane is x4 (making them x8x8 mode)

would i get better performance out of 1 9800gtx

downloading the manual of your mobo. takes a few mins from the asus site
I used to get artifact like things on crysis with AA on. Is it on yours?
