    Heck @ Asus P5B Deluxe

Finally got my Xeon X3350 (part-)working with my P5B Deluxe.

I put my PD920 onto the board, trying to update the BIOS, after trying formatting my USB stick for a couple of times, changing USB mode, I couldn't get the EZ Update to regonize the file :S

Took me a couple of hours trying, and at last got the new BIOS flashed by using UBCD and AFUDOS :S
I managed to get it to boot, got into BIOS, but whatever I do, or even just save the default, once I reboot its gone and need CMOS reset.

Tried cutting DRAM to 533, FSB to 266(1066) both have no effect
The CPU voltage option is locked so I can't change anything.

    CPU is Xeon X3350 (= Q9450) S-SPEC: SLAX2
Asus P5B Deluxe BIOS is at 1232 (Newest)
    Memory Patriot PC2-8000 CL5 2x1G

If I ignore the BIOS warning and I can get into Windows, I get:
    Core: 266 x 6 = 1600
    Memory: 266

    Fired up SP2004 and it goes up to 266 x 8 = 2133
Which seems normal, wondering why it couldn't boot when I save default BIOS setting :S

SP2004 was running fine with 4 cores at 100% until I put in the Asus CD which somehow made Windows shutdown (properly) then reboot and I'm stuck in the loop again.
Installed Ai Suite, couldn't find the CPU Voltage setting so I'm stuck here. Tried disable SpeedStep in BIOS which gave the same "Blank".

From what I can see the BIOS giving too low a voltage to the board, but I have no way to change that as the value is stuck to Auto when I first boot, and I have no way to change it in Windows. (Remember Ai-Booster used to be able to change BIOS setting but it doesn't even regonize the CPU freq, let alone changing voltage.

Also tried 1230 BIOS which still gives the same problem. I'll try further downgrade it to 1226 and see if helps. Or may be I should wait if there are any Beta BIOS...

The board (or chipset for that matter) was never designed to support Xeons, I'm surprised you've even got it booting tbh.

X3350 is pretty much identical to Q9450, and quite a few people is using them on P5B Deluxe (They seems to be using the Vdroop mod though)
