I always trust coretemp, but to be safe always go with the highest reading.
i see..thanks for the tip. Its just that i bought a scythe ninja and replaced it with my arctic pro and saw only a few degrees drop in difference..dunno i guess i just expected more

i would say its normal room temp, its a coldish rainy day (nothing new there) and i havent got the heating on either...hmmm
I would say 10C above room temp is normal at idle.
Idle temps wont vary hugely between decent coolers. Load temps are where the better cooler will win out. What are the differences in load temps between the arctic and the ninja?
I use speedfan and coretemp, both measure the same sensors from the cores and seem fairly reliable. Looking for big drops when i upgrade to watercooling.
