    the link for ease

The obvious difference for me is one is controlled by the thumb and other is finger tips.

Controlling with the thumb would be killing me after a short amount of time so there is no contest for me.

The more expensive one uses 2 batteries as opposed to one lol.. maybe last longer?

    Re: trackball mouse

    link

That one is what I would go for, as I couldn't hope to use my thumb all day for using a trackball.

I have this one but just the normal mouse and it's very comfortable to use though, so if you can use your thumb to operate the track ball then it may be a very nice mouse

I have the wired thumb version and like it - using the thumb means that the fingers can do the normal click, click and drag etc. Seems much more usable to me but I haven't tried the other one.

I have no issues with using the thumb all the time, it doesn't need to move far and it seems very intuitive.

I guess it's down to personal preference - you need to use both and decide which you prefer!

I've used the marble mouse for about 8 years - brilliant - but that is just personal preference - yes, if you can, try before you buy.

Wish Microsoft still made the Trackball Explorer, still prefer it to my Logitech Trackman.

    Anyone use the Orbit trackballs?
