Re: Laptop parts supplier?
Laptops are uneconimical to buy and even more uneconomical to fix. If there was a cheap way to fix them, companies would lose out on selling you £200 - £300 warranties lol.
You may find laptops being broken for spares (on ebay) but other than that everything on them is expensive.
Best practice with laptops is buy them with a decent warranty and throw them away when they break :D
There was a company that sold dell spare parts, my old company used them. It was based on them getting the old parts to refurb them etc.. but I just can't find them now.
The other obvious problem with fixing them yourself is that they are so fiddly inside, I saw my old boss break more than he fixed by opening them up.
What laptops are they?
Re: Laptop parts supplier?
I asked on the laptop part of the forum about a replacement keyboard, I`ll try and find the relevant post.
Re: Laptop parts supplier?
Have you tried LaptopSpares
They may not fit your criteria for "wholesale prices though"
Toshiba keyboards going for £55 and i don't knowif that includes VAT and delivery
With regard to laptops....what mike said
Re: Laptop parts supplier?
I don`t know how cheap they are:
Laptop Battery, Laptop Charger, Laptop Repairs, Laptop Spares and Laptop Accessory from Laptopbits.
I`ve found that searching on Google for a specific part is the best way.
