Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme, Quite interesting....

Hey guys, i emailed Thermalright after the stock dates got pushed back yet again.
    i said:

so what are the expected supply dates for the TRU120E and the TRU120bE?

    thanks guys.

P.S. if you could get back to me with this info so that i know where i stand, that would be awsome
they replied (very quickly i should add):

As far as the TRUE BLACK, you would be waiting more than a month for this product.

hmm, interesting, so thermalright seem to think that the TRUEs are readily available in the UK...

it is out of stock on every site i have tried (originally expecting stock on the 30th of march then pushed back to the 15th april then it got pushed back to 30th now it has been pushed back to 15th may):

    scan.co.uk
    overclockers.co.uk
    overclock.co.uk
    quietpc.co.uk
    thecoolingshop.com
    internetreadypcs.co.uk
    emodder.com
    kustonpcs.co.uk
    filtron.com
    tekheads.co.uk
    valtechcomputers.net
    candccentral.co.uk
    amazon.co.uk
    novatech.co.uk
    1337pc.co.uk

there are lots of threads on heXus.net and bit-tech.net and other forums about the shortages of the TRUE's because of the sheer amount of people that are waiting for them.

if you could direct me to a UK site that has stock, it would be greatly appriciated.

    thanks again

    J.Marsden

still waiting for a reply on this one, and i will update accordingly, just thought it might be of interest to some of you.

but another thing i should add, is that, the UK seems to be the only place that has a stock shortage... the USA/rest of europe ect all have stock, the UK's seems to be just left in the dark...

edit: oh and please don't turn this into the whole 'whats the point in getting a TRU120E when you can just get a scythe mine' etc

Sounds a bit like another American company not really paying much attention to UK business.

But they are based in the USA too. thermalright.com is the USA website. There isnt a UK site. They definitely seem more interested in american business.

    A) I care, thanks for the update;

    B) Kickbacks?? Seriously, if OCUK are getting them, then other retailers should get stock pretty soon.
