Right, just got one of these for a 2ndry PC ... all seems fine although when it first boots up I hit F2 to enter the BIOS and I get a black screen I've installed windows etc. and all is fine although its just that I can't adjust anything in the BIOS ...

Any ideas?

BTW - looked through the manual and doesn't help at all, no troubleshooter!

I have one of those boards, my daughter's machine, no probs accessing Bios. Sounds like maybe a graphics problem, do you have an old PCI graphics card you could try it with?

Yeah, tryed hard and soft resets. Neither worked!

I'm definately thinking its not the MBs problem as its running totally stable with SETI for the last hour!

might be worth trying it with only the cpu, memory and vid card in it and everything else disconnected including ide cables etc

also check the bios chip is inserted fully into its socket
