Thanks again to anyone who has given help and advise over the last few weeks. :)
I know a lot of people would say the 9800GTX isn't worth is over the 8800GTS. I had a lot of trouble deciding. But then I read that the 9800 runs cooler, and I thought it may therefore in theory be quieter (comparing BFG to BFG). Also I haven't had an 'upgrade' in over 5 years so didn't mind paying a little bit more for a small performance improvement.
Re: Photos of my New Build
nice specs! looks pretty clean inside as well
Re: Photos of my New Build
just one note. if you try turning the cooler around so the it and the rear fan are pointing in the same direction it would help cooling a bit more

Re: Photos of my New Build
Thanks :) Yep loving the case now, feared it would be too big, but it's just right
The cooler wouldn't fit the other way around - but there is an exhaust fan at the top just above it, so I thought perhaps actually it might be better that way, blowing the hot air up and out?
Re: Photos of my New Build
wow looks nice, great spec
Re: Photos of my New Build
Nice build and good parts.

It is worth it.
Where it is a false economy is when you upgrade from a 8800GTS/GTX to a 9800GTX. Thats where you would see no benefit :)
Re: Photos of my New Build
bloody showoff!

Only kidding, anyway if you have an extra fan, you can move the bottom fan and plonk it on top of the hdd's and then screw the fan directly onto the case. You'd have to remove the underside off though, but its not that hard anyway. Reduced my hdd temps by 5c.
I must say smashing pictures btw. No blurs no nothing. Looks very professional. What camera did you use? Pictures I take come out ****.

No points for guessing it was a 3.2MP Sony Cybershot :P looks like a DSCP72?
Very nice looking build you have there Logi, pity the bars in the back of the case block the use of those routing holes for some cable hiding.
Re: Photos of my New Build
ahh its a dsc p8....
why does my sisters canon 400d shoot like crap.. :(
Re: Photos of my New Build
Very nice and I'm liking the case aswell!
Re: Photos of my New Build
That case looks very nice indeed! Is it very quiet? and can you route the cables behind the mobo tray? and if so.. why havn't you? :p
Re: Photos of my New Build
Thanks all :)
Heheh, I'll give that a try Moogle. Only got the one hard drive but if that help's the overall temperature great.
Yep it's quite an old P8, but I used a mini tripod for most of the photos. Maybe that's why!
staffsMike - yeh as Merple says, there is a bar on the back for the side panel to latch onto, which prevents cables being routed to the top hole :( Small design flaw.
It's quite quiet. I was a bit angry at first because it was running louder than my old PC (which I had quietened myself ggrrr), and it was advertised as silent. But after reducing the minimum speed in the bios it is pretty inaudible indeed :) The bottom fan does make a bit of a binding/whiring sound though. Emailed Coolermaster, fingers crossed they'll send a replacement fan!
Re: Photos of my New Build
Wow. Nice case and parts.
So shiny.
Re: Photos of my New Build
