Does anyone have any PC5300+ RAM I can borrow [within M25]?

I am having problems with a recent build (IP-35 Pro with a Q6600) and I cannot get it to POST. I think it is the RAM I have. If anyone has any spare RAM I can borrow to see if it is the RAM, that would be appreciated!

    Hi Nick,

I have the same mobo & cpu, what memory are you trying to use? I have the Crucial Ballistix Tracers PC2-8500s that are rated at 2.2v and they booted up fine, DDR2 modules should be able to boot at 1.8v

I think you need to get into the bios (try with one ram stick) and up the voltage before you ram would work... I don't know why, but motherboards can't auto detect the required ram voltage properly

I agree with you there sim about getting to the BIOS but not all mobos have the poor auto detection thingy, mine booted and loaded windows all on 1.8v before I remembered that it should be 2.2v!
