Any one got?
a Acer P243W monitor and is it any good???
Currently running a Samsung SyncMaster2232BW (22" @ 1680x1050) which is great, but looking towards playing Blu-Ray, so presumably, despite the Samsung being HDCP ready I would be best of with a 24" @ 1920x1200 to achieve the full HD benefits?
Is there really any huge difference in the picture quality of HD between the two resolutions other than obviously viewing size?

Re: Any one got?
Many people struggle to tell the difference between 720p (1280x720) and 1080p (1920x1080) on a 37" display and that's a huge difference in resolution on quite a large screen. With 22" and 24" displays being so similar in both size and resolution, I can't see there being a visible difference.
That said, the Acer P243W looks to be a reasonable display, so I suppose it's down to how much you'd like those extra 2-inches.
Keep in mind however that running games at 1920x1200 will be a bugger unless you have an awesome graphics card (or three :P).

I have 2 of them, seem ok to me, good value in fact.
Sorry to report one pixel stuck on red tho but its barely noticeable.

Yes there is big enough difference in the resolution and bigger is always better.....
