Has anyone returned memory to OCZ?

One of two sticks (a matched pair) of OCZ PC3200 memory has decided to fail.

If I put the working stick in the motherboard it starts fine, putting the broken stick or both sticks in the motherboard and it does not start.

As these have a lifetime warranty I wanted to know if anyone has experience of returning sticks to OCZ for replacement before?

These are quite old sticks so I assume I need to go straight to manufacturer for replacement rather than where I originally bought them from.

Can anyone tell me the best way of returning them for replacement for a quick turnaround.

    TIA

You should be able to return them to the supplier - they are responsible for the mfr warranty. Dep[ends who the supplier is of course - but you will probably have to contact them anyway for an RMA number amnyway.

Depends on the age Peter - you could probably kick up a fuss about it, but the chances are even if they did accept a RMA, it would just be another person in the chain for it to go through before it reaches OCZ.

Re: Has anyone returned memory to OCZ?

If you do have trouble go to Icrontic.com as there are OCZ support boards on there and reps who are members.

Basically I got good service when I had to rma a psu back to them, took just over a week.
