Finally! I have been waiting for this for so long. It will make Crysis run faster right?

the price is absurd
For that price you might as well get a Skulltrail system.
4x4GB FB-DIMM is cheaper than the Gskill set above by about 16%.
But, Skulltrail system appear to suggest it only support 8GB ram.
Wonder how many motherboard actually support that 16GB kit.Intel D5400XS motherboard

OK.. I thought some people were overkill.. but 16GB? Who needs that???
I guess we're expected to do quite wellOriginally Posted by Fortune117
i saw that too. i wonder if there is actual a board that supports 16gb of ram available yet that takes this ram
Edit: according to the the description they are supported by the p35 , x38 and x48 chipsets
Edit2: apparently Gigabyte AM2 boards support 16gb of ram.

Hmmm nice ramdisk
Would be the biggest waste of money anyone could spend............
And you'd still get people using it on 32Bit OS's
"I've heard there is a common problem with this item from forums" - If you read some forums they believe Elvis was abducted by aliens, doesn't mean it's true.
It still doesn't stop them trying, and then asking for a replacement as they think they've got a faulty motherboard
Developers and Sys Admins running VM farms, although devs with machines that need that much grunt, tend to have proper dual/quad socket quad-CPU workstation motherboards with a stack of FB-DIMM slots, much the same with servers. But generally, it's hard to find motheboards that would even have a BIOS capable of addressing that much RAM.
