    Thought for the Day!

Thought my PSU (been informed in this forum that it is crap anyway), was 'up-the creek,' so ordered a new one which will arrive tomorrow, better quality I hope.

Today though, discovered one of my HDs had decided to go U/S and refused to work, which was stopping the computer from operating correctly. Not the PSU at all (yet!). So I now have a reasonable spare PSU.

    regards

Might have been the PSU that killed the HDD!

Indeed, a failing power supply can quite easily take other components out along with it.

    Re: Thought for the Day!

Indeed it was not the PSU. The DVD was the culprit. None the less I now have a reasonably good PSU (Corsair TX650W,) and my 'crap' one for emergencies!
