Another "which motherboard" thread"
Well, I have serious trouble trying to get my X3350 to work with my P5B so I'll just grab a new motherboard for it.
Criteria:
1. P35/X38/X48 chipset
2. Use DDR2 memory
3. Have a PCI slot that is not obstructed, so it can fit a PCI-X card (My 3Ware hardware RAID card) OR have a PCI-X slot
4. Have a PCIe 4x slot slot (When I upgrade my RAID card), no SLI/Crossfire support required
5. At least hitting 450x8 stable or perhaps even 500x8 on my X3350
6. Support Penryn quad-core C1 revision (quite obvious)
7. Relatively cheap, but no Asrock
I quite fancied the Asus workstation board with PCI-X but I couldn't find any review of it :juggle:
Wonder if there are much difference between P35/X38/X48?
Cheers
Arthur
