    What does this mean

I have trying to order something through Scan but they have delayed my order because the cpu is out of stock (despite the website saying in stock). I noticed that the title had "GO" in it, what does this mean and why is it other sites with the Q6600 do not have this in the title? Full title below:

    Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 G0 SLACR, Kentsfield Core, Socket 775, 2.40 GHz 1066MHz 8MB Cache, Retail

P.S even though overclockers are more expensive they processed and despatched my other order in 19 minutes!!!
    Specs:

    Q6600 G0, Thermalright Ultra 120, ABIT IP35 PRO, 4GB Corsair DDR2, Trusty old Tagan 480u, BFG 8800 GTS 512, Samsung F1 750 GB.

    Re: What does this mean

G0 is the stepping of the cores on the CPU. They tend to run cooler than their B3 counter part.

what do you think? Cooler = slightly less power consumption = better head room of overclocking = good.

    Re: What does this mean

The GO stepping of q6600 is better than the standard (B3) version of Q6600.
The GO stepping as Jay pointed out runs cooler, consumes less power and overclocks easier/better.

    Re: What does this mean

I was only asking as I am sure I read something about the GO and over clocking issues. Can't find the article now.
