xfx 9600gt 3dmark06 score

right guys if you check my system onthe left you will see my setup


this is my 3dmark06 score


now what i would like to know is this right everything on stock except for my cpu. which is at 3ghz!!! also my cpu is overclocked to 3ghz i will try to raise this but can any1 tell me how to raise the voltage safely (i think it's between 1.38 and 1.39 at the moment!)(what voltage would u recommend to get to 3.6 ghz)i've never done it before my e6600 goes upto 3.2 but then won't boot into windows my pc restarts and says overclocking failed

i have a few game the newest sega rally pro street etc...

and when i play them i get a little bit of lag not a lot but it's noticeable (i think this is down to cpu bottleneckin my system

Just raise the voltage as little as you can until it works but 3.0GHz is plenty enough, you might find if you lower the sound quality it works a bit better, some games don't like high quality when using onboard sound.

i knocked sound off but i still get lag any ideas??

For that CPU and GPU that is a decent score.
3D Mark 06 is very reliant upon the GPU and not so graphically reliant as previous versions.
Quad cores generally score the best from the CPU's and jump scores quite dramatically.

Forget about it tbh........3D Mark is synthetic anyway.

Whats an 'Oryx Tornado' btw?
