    Webcam

Did a quick search, found nothing. Thinking of investing in a webcam more for entertainment value then anything else.

Is this one any good? LOGITECH QUICKCAM MESSENGER VIDEO WEBCAM-NEW-UK SELLER on eBay, also Webcams, Video Webcams, Peripherals Multimedia, Computing (end time 08-Jun-08 13:54:23 BST)

Or can we recommend a better one, around £30 to spend.

Available for just £25 (+ P&P)... their Quickcam Pro 5000 is a much better webcam

I used to own one myself, before I bought their QuickCam Fusion

    Re: Webcam

I got a webcam as the wife said she wanted to chat with her friend in NZ

She has never used it and it just sits there collecting dust.

I've used it once or twice with Skype but unless you have to do a lot of video conferencing I think its a waste of cash

    Re: Webcam

There so cheap nowadays even if you only use it occasionally, I think it's worth it.

They should integrate webcam feeds into games more.

    Now that would be cool.

In your case, it obviously was.
But the vast majority of folks undoubtedly use them with their preferred chat client - i.e. MSN/WLM.
And many folks use their chat client every day... which means they're making very good use of their webcams
