Hi everyone,
I just bought a Antec P182 case which i love but I have a stupid problem where the magnet on the door pulls out the power switch when you open it!!
Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I was thinking degmagnetise the power switch but how do you go about doing something like that?

If the switch is ferromagnetic it doesn't have to be magnetised (paramagnetism is usually weak with common materials - nickel plating generally), so the switch needs to be fastened in better or move the magnet to somewhere harmless if possible.
Does it pull out just the power switch cover or the whole switch assembly? I suspect it will be just the power switch cover. The power switch cover is supposed to click onto the switch assembly so it looks like it's loose on your P182.
just the switch cover i can still turn the pc off with the switch cover off. any ideas on how would i go about securing it in the case better? the switch don't seem broken, although i have nothing to compare it to, its just like its not tight enough or not clipping on.
It shouldn't do that, see if you can email antec see what they say.

What I would do initially is to remove the mains cable from the P182 case and orient the power switch cover correctly over the switch. The on/off symbol on the switch cover is a circle with a vertical line. Ensure that the vertical line is at the 12 o'clock position and push down reasonably firmly. It should click into place - but don't use too much force or you might push the switch itself back into the case!

^ You're welcome Guppy, glad you got it sorted. I had one of the magnets come loose and that annoyed me greatly. I superglued it in the end!
