Gaming Lap-Top £700ish

Ok so i'm looking for a gaming lap-top that will play CSS and COD4 at high levels of fps without skimping on graphics.

I'd like it to have decent multi-media access too.

Anyone any suggestions as the UK is crawling with folks selling lappys but I'm just getting spec overload.......

Suggestions for £600 - 700ish or for something special i could stretch to £800.00 delivered to Scotland

i have a dell XPS, cost me about 550 excl quidco and its fully capable, 8600GT core2duo... all the good stuff!

excellent value for money IMO

gone down in price now aswell, have a look at whats availible!

Deffiantly check of the dell XPS (M1530 I presume). It has the DDR3 8600GT and is a fair bit faster than the DDR2 model under the same name.

Not bad to look at considering it's a dell, I have an M1330 and it's a lovely little thing

One thing to note about dell though is they will (and have not been) a first mover with new hardware. So centrino 2 or whatever they are calling it now will take some time coming.

So people like zepto, http://uk.zepto.com/Shop/Config.aspx...otebookid=1148, are a little ahead of the game.

Now they offer centrino 2 chips and the 9600GT. It's the same performance as the 8600GT near enough just runs cooler
