    Nf7-S (v2.0) bios.....fsb

    Hi

I was trying to do some overclocking to do, on my xp1700 tbred B.

Was upping the fsb, got to 180. Posted as 360mhz Dual Channel on the next boot. which is correct.

Went to 185 and it posted 306mhz Dual Channel....

This hasnt happened before. The RAM is 2x256mb pc2700 Sammy. It seems a bit odd that the RAM speed goes backwards when i raise the fsb above 180mhz.

Oddly enough the CPU is at the correct speed for 185x10 (1.85ghz) but it says the RAM is at 306mhz, which makes no sense to me.

    Should i re-flash the BIOS?
Has anyone else had this problem?

    Cheers
    Will

Is there an option for selecting the CPU:Memory FSB ratio (whatever it's called)? With mine, I can run my CPU at 133MHz for example and my RAM at 200MHz (i.e. not the same speed).
