lots of people have said that the side 120mm fan on the coolermaster CM-690 is noisey, is there anything you can do to it to make it quieter? i dont want to move the fan or slow it down loads because it is going to be cooling either a 9800GXT or 9800GX2 or maybe one of the new cards

I know you said you don't want to move it but if you place it at the bottom of your PC where the plastic gauss is just in front of the PSU you will still provide cool air to your GFX(actually its better positioned there) and take away the annoying noise.

I have a fan positioned there and it works far better

actually that makes more sence than having it on the side because then it is blowing into the GFX's own fan, thanks

also how many fans does the case come with? on the hexus review it says 3 but on scan it says 2

Other option is to replace with a quiter fan such as the Noctua NF-P12

I purchased my case from scan and it came with 3 120mm fans

One in the front by the hard drives, one on the side and one extracting a the back.
