What case do you have?
Some cases have windowed side panels as accessories, you can simply get the dremel out and cut a big hole in it and screw some perspex in, or get someone like KustomPC's (i think they do it) to make one for you.
They make one for the P182 iirc.

its a CM-690
forgot to add that at school i have access to a computer controled 2-axis laser cutter (dont know if it can cut metal or what it would do to the paint but can find out tomorrow), a 3-axis router (again dont know if it can cut metal but it probably can, ill find out) and some old computer cases because the computing dept retired the last of the old computers and replaced them with new ones during the easter holidays and there are still some of the old ones kicking about that i could practice with or test on.
Theres a CM690 panel for sale at scan for £11.16, but it is on pre-order in the Cases=>Case Accesories section
CM690 Side Panel
If you decide to make your own, at least it gives you an idea of what to make it look like...
I'd have probably left the side fan off as the case seems to work quite well with air going from the bottom to top for cooling and noise
I figured there would be one though, most of the popular ones have one eventually.
I used a dremel, some acrylic, and a pillar drill. It took about a week in total, but I only did a little bit a day.

This is bunny and friends. He is fed up waiting for everyone to help him out, and decided to help himself instead!
Having just cut a window (see my project log thread). I think for cutting a simple window using a jigsaw is the best as it is excellent for long straight lines. For anything else the dremel is the tool of choice. I cut a radiator grill today with a jigsaw and it was a total pain (finished it tho). Cutting the window was simple, probably took about 20 mins + another 20 mins filing.
i think it was Jay who had a log of what he did (or i might be thinking of flewis') but it gives you an idea on how to do it yourself....
