Question Performance difference between pci-e 1.1 and 2.0?

I'm looking at upgrading my graphics card to the gtx 280, or ati's new cards if they're good enough. But all these cards are pci-e 2.0 and my motherboard (gigabyte p35c-ds3r) is pci-e 1.1 . Will the performance then be lower if used in this motherboard and also will there be enough power for the card as I heard that pci-e 2.0 also increases the power through the slot. My psu is fine for the card though (900W Tagan TG900-BZ) so that might make up for it. I don't know.

I don't usually say this, search the forums before asking basic questions!

Sorry, I did a good search on google and came up with nothing so I figured there was nothing here on it. I was looking mainly for benchmarks however so that's probably why I found nothing. Thanks for the links.

Re: Performance difference between pci-e 1.1 and 2.0?

Sorry, if I sounded a bit rude. The benchmarks show almost zero difference (maybe 1-2fps) for all the cards (not sure if someone has tested the new GTX 280 yet..)..
