    Which MB drivers to install?

    hello,

I've recently formatted my system, and have been reinstalling drivers.

However, I'm totally confused as to which motherboard drivers to install. How is the system working without drivers? I certainly haven't had any problems.

    Here is a list:

I don't use RAID or the onboard audio.

    Thanks!

Which version of Windows - XP or Vista ?

If its the latter I guess it has support for the chipset out of the box.

    hello,

    I'm using Vista.

Would there be any disadvantage to sticking with what I have now, or should I install the drivers?

    Thanks!!!!

Re: Which MB drivers to install?

You should get the latest Intel Chipset driver. I would also install the JMicron SATA Driver (although you often can get away with this as well if you decide to use the eSATA port, for instance, it won't work without this, so better to install so you won't suddenly find something not working if you use it in future). I wouldn't bother with the rest.
