    Power supply gone kaboom?

Looking for some assistance in choosing a new power supply as my tagan tg530-u22 has just given up whilst playing some tf2

current rig : asus a8n sli mobo skt 939, cpu dual core amd 64 4200, gpu 7800gt, psu tagan tg530-u22.

the system has served me well over the past 2.5 years but last night my computer crashed in tf2 when i pulled out my ps2 keyboard and plugged in a usb keyboard to test it and had to turn pc off via power switch. now whenever i press the power on button on case the cpu fan spins for about 1 sec along with the case fan and beeps once then stops. the green light is constantly on the mobo. i am assuming one of the 12v rails has given up?

could some 1 tell me whether the corsair 520hx (LN15216) would be ok to use on my current rig as above..ie are all the connectors there to connect to the mobo and 7800gt?

any help would be much appreciated.

Not sure whether the PSU is competly knackered but i do know the Corsairs are good psu's....the one you selected should have all the cables for ur current rig.

The corsair will be fine. I was looking @ a 500w OCZ for my 939 system, was about £35 from ebuyer i think.

    Re: Power supply gone kaboom?

Another thumbs up for the Corsair.

If your feeling flush then go for the Enermax Modu 82+ series as the quality of the connectors are a bit better (subjectively, no tests carried out)
