logitech g5 or saitek cyborg or ?

Looking for a gaming mouse around the £30 mark and the only 2 i can find are these two, the razers are alright but im not sure i like them. Anyone have either of these mice? perhaps give their opinion on either one and its pros/cons of it. I dont like the colour design of the g5 (newer one), do they do an all black or something?. Any other suggestions for mice?

as with most of the "new mouse" threads, i would reccomend the A4tech X750-F, it's very nice to use in games and handles well on any surface, when i got mine (about a year ago now) it was £25 on amazon

I ordered the MX518 earlier today (from Amazon - £23) I was looking at the G5 although they are a little over £30. However, there is the Battlefield edition. It's £28 + £4.45 delivery from an Amazon marketplace seller. I was tempted but thought I'd save my pennies
I would have gone for a Deathadder if it were £25 or so.
I also saw the Gigabyte GM-M6800 Dual Lens Gaming mouse at £7.99, but not sure if its any good.

shame that g5 is the older version with 1 button not 2. Just wondering if any1 has the cyborg one, does it look full black in the flesh? because one time i was looking at youtube reviews and it looks like the middle was lighter than the rest of it, but looked again and it didnt .

There seems to be some confusion regarding naming/pricing of A4Tech gaming mice available on Amazon UK though?

For instance... this one costs £19.49+ P&P.
Yet this appears to be the same mouse (namely - the X-750BF), and it's available from Amazon themselves for just £14.98 - which includes FREE delivery

Whilst the pictures make them look like two different mice... the first one also mentions X-750BF in the title... which would suggest they are in fact the same product?

although they are probably great mice id rather go for a company i know is quality, my saitek joystick is still going after 10years, goto say thats well good. Just want personal opinions on the cyborg new mouse and perhaps the g5, if its siginifcantly better than the saitek i may ignore the colour of it .

I have the G5. Absolutely love it. It took a while to get used to the texture of the mouse itself and the cord (which came as a shock when I first touched it) but using another mouse now just feels weird. The on-the-fly sensitivity changing buttons works a treat if you're jumping from being in a tank to sniping somebody. All in all, I would definitely recommend it.

Lookng at the reviews on amazon though i think i may get the saitek, cant buy it yet(bday on wednesday yay ) so if any1 could post their view on the saitek mouse before then would be great, is the mouse heavy or light? prefer a heavier mosue but as long as it isnt one of them extremely light ones it should be fine.

Not sure about the weight of the saitek mouse but you can adjust the weight of the G5 to fit your needs. See here and here.

yeh, its america leaving england out again, there is apprantly a weight feature on the american vwersion but not the uk version. Ill go weigh my current mouse lol.

they are different mice... i think the BF is slightly newer, but i prefered the look of the standard F, i think the BF just refers to the skin on the mouse.

but internally, it think that they are exactly the same it's just the external appearence which changes...

If you're talking about the G5: there is a weight feature on the english G5 because I have it on mine which I brought from scan. If you're tslking about the Saitek, my bad.

yup on about the saitek . Tis a shame though, that feature is welcomed but i still just cant get over the colour scheme of the g5 lol.
Now for the real question, are black mouse mats bad for the saitek? just know some mice and fussy on colours etc. Was gunna get shakroon mouse mat.
