Case Fan blow in or out?

I recently took mine out and put it back again, is it supposed to draw air from out of the case inside, or blow draw air from inside the case out?

Front = Draw air in
Back = Push air out

The side with the supporst on - , blows air out.

The other side - - is the one which sucks air in

Lowest fan (usually at the front) sucks air in, highest fan (usually at the back) exhausts hot air (as hot air rises)

If you have a fan at the side (with or without ducting) to remove air from the CPU, that should exhaust out of the case.

I've got a 120mm fan for the front, but I can't open the front of the case to screw it in because of the main face plate (front of the tower where the buttons are)

Also, I've just got the rear case fan (the one near the power supply), even without the front case fan, is this still supposed to blow air out?

Yes - if it is high up on the back plate.

If you didnt have a fan at the front before then unless you have overheating problems, or you have installed new hotter components, then there is little point in installing one as all its going to do is cause more noise.

The fan at the back of the case just below the PSU should be blowing out the case, in cooler systems this is all thats needed as it creates enough suction to move air through the front grill by itself.
